One Sept late afternoon, the dogs ran enthusiastically from their door, down the trail and to the beach. They stood like
frozen statues and waited for me. When I got there, an Eagle was sitting at the shore line. The dogs stood respectfully about
ten feet away. Nobody moved.The dogs turned heel and left the Eagle alone on the beach. His head was tucked under his wing.
They never made eye contact.He stayed for an hour then flew up up and away.
